Katarina Valaskova is a vicedean for education at the Faculty of Operation and Economics, University of Zilina, Slovakia. For a long time, she has been interested in the trilogy of financial management issues: i) prediction of the financial health of enterprises, ii) earnings management, iii) quantification and diversification of risks. In 2023 and 2024 she was listed in the ranking Top 2% Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University which identifies top researchers globally based on citations. Since 2023 she has been a full-member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, an American honour society for scientists and engineers.
